The Treasure Hunter Challenge is our official effort to harness the power of the Web-enabled global social network , collective intelligence and crowdsourcing by setting up an open source, Web 2.0 powered global treasure hunt. For those endeavoring, adventurous individuals that have always wanted to search for sunken treasure but have lacked the resources to physically explore probable sites, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. If they identify a probable find they will have the resources of Marine Exploration behind them as operating partners on the recovery should something turn up.

I am definitely down for a Cariggean adventure. I recently went on a wreck dive off the coast of Cancun, Mexico. The underwater world is awesome. I went inside a sunken Army ship and explored the area. That was really cool. I can't imagine how great it'd be to join Burt and the crew as they discover and slowly work on uncovering their next ship and its contents.

Just when I thought there weren't any adventures left on the planet... Here they are! I think this is going to be a very exciting year.
Anybody else think it would be fun to get together for a cruise in the Caribbean maybe next year?
